When looking for a fitted daybed mattress cover, the first place to look is for a twin bed mattress cover. While daybeds are now available in full sizes, most often they consist of two twin mattresses, one that pops up to fit next to the mattress on the frame.
Daybeds are now standard twin bed sizes. If looking for a mattress cover, select from the available twin bed choices. As most daybeds are standard, do not select an extra long size unless you know your daybed is using an extra long twin bed mattress. (Usually not the case.)

Please note that the grip skirt of the cover will fit mattresses that are extra thick, in this case up to 22".
While the 200 thread count may seem a little low according to some standards, it must be noted that a higher thread count is not important when contemplating a mattress cover. The sheets used on top of the mattress cover will have the thread count that is important. The gel in this pad will add the overall comfort while the thread count of the sheets will determine the feel next to the skin.
It is important that the consumer know that there is a difference in the daybed mattress cover and the fitted daybed cover. In general conversation, it is easy to confuse the two or believe that we are discussing mattress covers for the daybed when we may be discussing a fitted daybed cover.
