Blue Bedding for All Seasons

blueBlue is one of the most comforting colors for a bedroom.  With so many combinations to go with the variety of hues, blue is one of the easiest colors to work with in the bedroom decor.  I have included a color wheel to help one to visualize the wide range of colors that will work with your chosen shade of blue.

If there is one caveat when selecting blue for the bedroom, it must be that not all shades of blue will combine with one another in a pleasing fashion.  That said, I hope our wide range of blue bedding selections will help provide an idea of the shades and combinations that will work best in your area.

Many of the lighter shades, tones and tints vary toward aqua and turquoise while at the other end of the spectrum there is a very dark, so-called Navy blue, that creates an almost neutral palette upon which to create.  In the middle range one will find those comforting shades that are most often found in French country patterns or toile patterns.

In other words, whether going for a nautical theme, a country setting, or a sophisticated design, one is most certain to find a shade of blue to begin the bedroom decorating process.
