Bringing a new baby into the world is the greatest joy for many families and definitely the memorable experience to be celebrated forever. Bringing the newborn home can be a very satisfying experience for the new mom and dad if they have properly prepared for the event.
The nursery theme has been decided upon. The room has been painted or papered to suit the decor. The baby crib has been selected with care with the safety of the infant in mind. Yet, no matter how well the new parents have prepared there is always something lacking, usually enough baby bedding.
It is important to remember that most infants spend approximately seventy percent of their time during the first year in the baby crib. That means a lot of washing for mom. To prepare for the newborn new parents should have several sets of baby bedding.
It is always wise to begin with solid color baby sheets. Of course, white is suggested as one of the colors just because in rare cases some babies may show a reaction to dyes. While allergic reactions are highly unlikely it is always better to be prepared. An assortment of solid colors that complement the theme of the bedding theme selected for the nursery.
Baby bedding sets have become plentiful in many colors, designs and themes. There are sets that are specifically designed with the little boy in mind and of course others specific to the little girl. Most are quite colorful offering the new mom that opportunity to choose from a variety of complementary colors and making it easy to select the primary color for the nursery.
